PayPal - Do Stuff For Money

PayPal wanted to create a campaign that would build awareness of the PayPal Send Money feature. We wanted to create a way to convince our interns to run around the office in the nude. Thus, the creation of PayPal DoStuffForMoney – a microsite that uses Facebook Connect to help you ask your friends to do stuff… for money. Let the scandalous bribes, unsavory dares and sleazy favors begin.

I got one dollar to write this.

A cool new way to get from A2B

A2B

EVB recently starting working with Ultra Motor to develop a social media campaign to promote the A2B Metro electric bicycle, which is unanimously one of the coolest products we’ve ever worked on.

If you’ve never road-tested one of these bikes you need too. They are fast, with a lot of torque, and are very fun to ride. They go about 20mph and get about 20 miles to a charge. You can ride them anywhere you ride a bike; park them on the sidewalk; and you don’t need a motorcycle license. Plus, they are totally green. Very cool.

Current Network’s #TwitterRFP

April 25th, 2009

jordan

Earlier this week, the Current Network used Twitter to announce that they are looking for a new ad agency. Since Jordan Kretchmer (@jkretch) posted this simple tweet on Thursday morning, he has been inundated by agencies all over the country:

This is a TwitteRFP for The Current Network. Searching for a full service ad agency partner. http://twerbose.com/t7702

I am one degree separated from Jordan on Twitter and received this RT very quickly. While sitting in another client meeting in San Jose, I was able to respond to this RFP in real time. How cool is that?

I am sure that some will call the TwitteRFP a gimmicky way to bring attention to the Current Network and its selection process. Here’s why I think it’s the coolest RFP process we’ve ever been a part of.

Yep, we’ve got Nelly references from 2001.  But now we’ve got a company ride to go with it.  This is Daniel’s first mountain bike, built in 1985 by John Slawta of Landshark Bicycles.  Got a sweet new paint job to match our aura, and a rack to carry our shawarma.

But Daniel dressed up anyway, because he’s all business.  Also, the results of the non-denominational egg-hunt are in, and we’re all winners!
